Juliet Pomés Leiz is a native from Barcelona whose life revolves around the table. This is the place of her favourite activities: drawing, creating and generally enjoying food and drinks with good company. With this in mind it was obvious that she would not hesitate for a moment when Zahorí proposed her to illustrate this food book from the Institut de la Cuina Catalana. She was delighted to revisit familiar smells like those of flame-grilled peppers and aubergines, a classic combination in Catalan cuisine and a flavour that tranports her to the best of her childhood family meals.
